WHY SHAPE MATTERS: AT EAGLADOR, FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION. THE SHAPE OF A GLASS ENHANCES WINE'S AROMAS, TEXTURES, FLAVOURS, AND FINISH.
Each glass improves four key aspects of wine:
- Bouquet: The bowl directs aromas to the nose, highlighting the wine's profile.
- Texture: The design controls how wine flows on the palate, affecting perceptions of body, balance, and tannins.
- Flavour: Rim diameter and bowl depth position wine on the tongue to target specific taste receptors for acidity, sweetness, and bitterness.
- Finish: The glass emphasizes the wine's lingering qualities.
Eaglador stemware consists of a bowl, stem, and base. The stem's elongated height prevents hand heat from warming the wine. The bowl's shape, size, and rim are designed for specific grape varieties, accounting for their aromas, skin thickness, and structure. Both the stem and shape encourage swirling and aeration.
Our collection includes just two versatile options: red wine glasses and white wine glasses, each sold in sets of six.
